Our rates are for single or double-occupancy and include a breakfast daily. Appropriate taxes are not in the rate. Rates are subject to change depending on the date, time of reservation and availability.
We charge $50.00 extra after double occupancy for ages 1+, this is available for our upstairs suites ONLY.A 100% Deposit will taken immediately after booking a one to two-night stay. A 50% deposit will be taken upon new reservation of a three night stay or more. Day of arrival the guest will be charged the remainder of the stay. We have right to refuse service if not done so.
Cancellation notice must be received NO LATER than 14 days prior to your scheduled arrival in order to receive a refund of your deposit less $50.00 cancellation fee. If you cancel within the 14 days you will be issued a cancellation coupon for the deposit amount minus the $50.00 processing fee, unless it is 72 hours to your date of arrival in which you will not receive reimbursement of any kind. In the event of a pandemic, government shutdown or an uncontrollable event, cerificates will be issued instead of refunds.
If the guest books 4th of July Holiday, Thanksgiving weekend, Memorial Day, Labor Day, New Years, or any holiday weekend, and cancels at any point, the guest will not receive reimbursement as all these dates if cancelled are NON-refundable.
The cancellation coupon is honored up to 6 months from the date of cancellation. Cancellation coupons cannot be transferrable. Any remaining amount can be used at a later day up to the expiration date. They can only be used for room nights. You will not receive a cancellation coupon if you did not book with Cayucos Sunset Inn directly. A cancellation coupon is not a gift certificate. *Group cancellations (2 or more rooms) 30 day cancellation, if cancelled prior to the arrival date a $50.00 charge for each room booked will be charged. If you book the entire property, it is non-refundable if cancelled at any point. If you have lost your key you will be charged $125.00 for a replacement.
*When booking with another Booking Agency you must cancel your reservation with the Agency booked. You will pay the full amount of your booking if cancelled at anytime forfeiting the amount. If cancelled with your Booking Agency it is subject to our policy on the booking agencies website. If you have reserved and do not show up you will be charged for the full amount of the reservation. We have a very strict cancellation policy because we are a very small Inn. We greatly appreciate your understanding of our policies and greatly appreciate your repeat and new business. We are taking extra measures to ensure the safety of our guests and staff. We relinquish all liability to a guest contracting covid-19 at our establishment. Thank You.
*Check-in time is between 3 PM and 6 PM. Please call for late check-in arrangements. Check-out time is 11 am. Every hour past will be a $35.00 extra charge based on availability. Our office opens at 8:00 a.m. and closes at 7pm. Please notify us if your arrival is delayed.
*Smoking is not permitted. A $250.00 fee will be imposed if you smoke in your room or disturb others, a smoking area is created out in the parking lot if need be!
*Sorry, we regret we cannot accept pets on our property. If found with a pet a $100 per night fee will be added.
*We have the right to refuse anyone. We provide a safe for your convenience, we are not responsible for lost or stolen items. Please use a credit card for your safe! We look forward to your future arrival and stay in the greatest little beach town on the Central Coast!
